How to Get a STRONG Letter of Recommendation
For many people, letters of recommendation are the most nerve-racking part of the application process. After all, through studying you can improve your test scores, through careful work you can craft a strong personal statement, and you can even learn to become a better interviewer. But many people assume that, since someone else is doing the writing, they have little-to-no control over their letters of recommendation.
This is wrong.
There are concrete steps that you can follow that will help you select a good recommender, provide them with the information they need to write you a strong letter, and conduct the process with the sort of maturity and thoughtfulness that makes your letter writer want to help you.
In this episode of Gurufi’s ‘Getting Into Graduate School’ series, we cover letters of recommendation, and how to get a strong one.
